Helen L. (Bargerstock) London

Helen L. (Bargerstock) London, 90, a Neville Island resident since 1957, was reunited with her beloved husband of 68 years, Walter M. London who passed away on February 3, 2021. Helen passed peacefully on Monday evening, January 24, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospice House. Born on July 4, 1931, in Punxsutawney, she was one of three children to the late Emery and Mabel (Dobson) Bargerstock. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Deloris and Jim Kuntz.

Helen was a member of O.E.S., Sewickley Chapter #439 and held offices in her younger years. She was active in election work as a voting poll worker. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, embroidery and crocheting but cooking was her passion. She was your “go to” for cooking substitutions or any questions related to cooking.

Helen is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law with whom she made her home most recently, Nancy and Randy Flick; her cherished granddaughters Amy Flick and Tracey and husband Kevin Foltz; proud great grandmother to Sammie and Dani; well-loved sister of Ray and his wife Karen “Pork” Bargerstock.

Visitation Thursday 2-4, 6-8 and Friday from 12:30 PM until time of service at 1:30 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. Burial will follow at Sewickley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to First Baptist Church of Coraopolis or to Good Samaritan Hospice House.
