Guy “Timmy” Clemont, Sr., 75, of the Northside of Pittsburgh, formerly of Wheeling WV passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Manor Care North Hills. He was born in Wheeling, WV on August 6, 1945, the eldest of six children. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Clair O. and Betty Lou (Cannady) Clemont, his wife Kathleen (Zelkovic) Clemont, infant son Anthony Pearson and sister Paulette Clemont. He is survived by his five children Brian Hawley of Baltimore, MD, Guy Clemont, Jr. of Sanford, FL, Kevin Clemont of Lansing, OH, Tracy (Akanni) Flowers of Lancaster, PA and Daniel Pearson of Martins Ferry, OH; four siblings Deborah (Frederick) Gory of Menifee, CA, Patrick (Regina) Jones of Hampton, VA, Stephen Jones of Martins Ferry, OH, and Scott Minor of Atlanta, GA; Uncle John Clemont of Roanoke, VA and Aunt Ethel Clemont of Wheeling, WV; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Guy was a Disabled Vietnam War Vet who served in the U.S. Army. He was recipient of National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal 2/60 Devise and Sharpshooter Badge (M-14 Rifle). He was loved by many and held a special place in the hearts of the people that knew him. Memorial Visitation Friday, November 20, 2020 from 1 PM until time of service at 2 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. He will be privately inurned in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
