Gregory Leon Payne

Gregory Leon Payne, 65, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2020. Born in Sewickley on March 30, 1955, he was the son of the late Theadoria and James Payne. He was an avid Eagle Scout and outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He also enjoyed landscaping. Gregory worked as a qualified equipment operator for many years with Columbia Gas. He could often be found grilling and sipping on his favorite iced tea.  Gregory loved music and listening to the radio, especially his favorite station, WAMO.

Gregory is survived by his beloved sons Justyn Payne and Davin Payne (Bayley), his brother Rick Payne (Diana), nephews Michael Payne, Mark Payne, and Matthew Payne, along with a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave, on Sunday July 5 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where a service will be held on Monday July 6 at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Coraopolis Cemetery.
