Grace E. (Metas) King Mixter, 97, of Coraopolis, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024, at Providence Health Care Center. Grace was born in Chicago, IL on February 1, 1927, one of three children, to the late George and Elizabeth (Wones) Metas. In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her spouses, David M. King and Stanley D. Mixter, and her two brothers John and Tom Metas. Beloved mother of David (Lisa) King and Richard (Joy) King; loving grandma to David King, Travis King, Brenda (Seth) Gardner, Steven (Rebecca) King and Matthew (Ashley) King; proud great grandma to Annaleigh, Travis, Trace, Andrew, Bishop, Cordelia, and Adam. Grace was a member of Bible Missionary Church. She was employed as an insurance adjuster. Grace loved traveling on cruises or bus trips. She was an avid reader and would read most anything that was in her vicinity. She enjoyed board games. She was a family woman, the matriarch of her family, who enjoyed hosting family dinners and just being with family. Visitation Friday (September 20th) 10-11 AM with service at 11 AM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. Entombment will follow at Coraopolis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in her name to Bible Missionary Church, 118 Service Church Rd., Aliquippa, PA 15001.
