Gordon French Obituary

Gordon Oliver French, age 88, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was the beloved husband of 62 years of Storma French; loving father of Eric French, Jeannine French, Suzanne Smith and Shawn French; dear grandfather of Haley and Rory French, Amanda White and Allison Adams; great grandfather of Noah White; son of the late Oliver and Grace French; brother of Charlotte Stubbs and the late Donald and Clyde French and Sylvia Scassa. Gordon was an electrical area foreman for J & L/LTV Steel, retiring after 41 years. He faithfully served his country in the U. S. Army and loved fishing, camping, woodworking and especially spending time with his loving family. Services private. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the Humane Society of Western PA. Arrangements entrusted to R. D. Copeland, Inc. Moon Township.
