Gary “Dedo” Trimmer
Age 64, passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 9:13 AM. Dedo was a skilled carpenter, a man who could fix anything, a talented artist, a devoted father and grandfather. He served our country in the U.S. Army and was respected and loved by his family and friends. Born in Sewickley on January 25, 1955, one of seven children born to the late Earl and Eldora (Fabean) Trimmer. Dedo was a life-long resident of Coraopolis and a graduate of Cornell High School, class of 1972. Loved and cherished father of Jillian Trimmer, Timmy and Abby Trimmer; adored grandfather of Ciara Trimmer, Karissa Lang and Wyatt Trimmer; beloved brother of John Trimmer (Karen), Mark Trimmer (Joanne), Jeff Trimmer (Kate), Tina Trimmer Corso (Richard Kostal) and the late Kim McConkey and Mike Trimmer; brother-in-law of James McConkey. Visitation Monday (July 22) 2-4, 7-9 at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday (July 23), time pending. Burial with full military honors will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, family respectfully requests that donations be made to the funeral home to defray funeral costs.
