Frank Joseph Olszewski, age 49, formerly of the Pickford Plan in Kennedy Township, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Washington Hospital. Frank was welcomed into heaven by the two people that meant the world to him, his beloved mother Christina Dorothy Olszewski and his loving grandmother Dorothy Olszewski, and his cherished pet dog, Shue. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 24, 1975, the only child of the late Frank Robert Demel and Christina Dorothy Olszewski. Frank and his family were members of St. Margaret Mary Church and former members of St. Malachy. Being raised in a Christian Family, he was blessed with a deep faith. He was a proud alumnus of Montour High School, class of 1993. Frank always had a wonderful work ethic. In his youth, he worked at the Kennedy Township Giant Eagle. As he grew older, he worked as a flight attendant with US Air where he discovered that he liked to travel. His longtime employment was with the IRS. Everywhere Frank went, he made friends. He had an incredible sense of humor, was positive, kind, and friendly. At age 19, Frank was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Due to his deep faith and strong mind, he staved off a wheelchair until his 40’s. He fought hard against MS. Multiple Sclerosis did not define him, and he never lost his kind-heartness toward others. Frank will be missed by his friends and family. A private Blessing Service will be held on Friday (Feb. 7th) at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. followed by his burial at Resurrection Cemetery at 11 am..
