Fiore (Fido) Vescio, 88, a Coraopolis and Sewickley resident most of his life, passed away peacefully at his home in Cranberry Township on Thursday, April 2, 2026. He was born in Sewickley on March 7, 1938, one of three sons to the late James and Sarah Vescio. On December 11, 2013, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Juliann (Vargo) Vescio. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by his two brothers Tony and Domenic. Fiore is survived by his loving children, who supported his quest to continue to live in his own house. For 30 years, he was a self-employed mechanic. He liked to build models of all kinds, planes, trains, and automobiles. He enjoyed the company of his friends. Fiore is the beloved father of Deborah (Ron) Hilliard and Timothy (Stacy) Vescio; cherished PapPap of Kenneth Vescio, Nikolas Vescio, Brittani Waltonbaugh and Matthew Hilliard; proud Great PapPap to Emberlyn and Hendric. Visitation Tuesday (April 7th) 1-6 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday (April 8th) at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
