Eugene "Sandy" Barrett

Eugene “Sandy” Barrett, age 65, of Moon Township, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Son of Bettie and the late Eugene Barrett; beloved husband of Cathy Ritter; stepfather of Steve and Chris Ritter; brother of Timothy Barrett and David (Kelley) Barrett and uncle to their son, Benjamin Barrett.  Also survived by many cousins.  Sandy worked for US Airways and American Airlines for over 40 years as a gate agent and later a tower lead supervisor. He was a 1977 graduate of Moon High School. In his spare time, Sandy was an avid golfer and a car enthusiast. Friends will be received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Wednesday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11 am. In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
