Emily Rae Fick, age 30, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 15, 2023. Survived by her precious daughter, Avery Rae Hornick and her father Brandon Hornick. Beloved daughter of Leslie Wood and the late Peter Fick; loving sister of Hannah Sangricco; granddaughter of the late Charles Wood, Beth Wood, Peter Fick and Ann Viccaro; niece of Austin Gomez Wood and Chris (Sharon) Fick; aunt of Haven, Elias and Dehlaini. Smart and artistic, Emily excelled in school. Her foundation for her greatest profession, “A Mom”. She was a loving mom, creative and Avery was the joy of her life. Emily loved Avery dearly and took such joy in teaching, reading, and exploring together. She shared her creativity with Avery and together they made her playroom into a tree and nature filled wonderland. She was loved beyond measure. She will be forever missed. Services held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family will accept donations for Avery’s care in the form of a gofundme tribute which will me available soon.
