Elsie May (Dever) Berline

 Elsie May Berline (Dever) Age 83, of Moon Twp, passed away  on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Born in Cleveland, WV on April 3rd, 1942, a daughter of the late Boyce and Mabel Dever. Loving wife of Roland Berline. Loving mother of Rebecca (Steven) Bendowski , Mary (Dan) Ross and Naomi (William) Davidson. Sister of Linda Sue Bergfeld  and Brother Dana (Gail) Dever  and the late Lorraine, Jean, Harold, Carl, Ernie and John. Grandmother of Shayne (Anne) Bosley,  Caleb (Shelby) Parker, Nicole (Dave) Pierce and Sierra Bosley , Victoria Ross, Brian Davidson and Vincent and Dianna Ross. Great-grandmother of Kayla Parker, Everly Parker, Emily Bosley, Auron Bosley, Dawson Pierce, Cooper Ross and Georgieanna Ross. Also survived by Blacky, her devoted cat, and many loving and supportive nieces, nephews and cousins. After high school, Elsie graduated from the Connelley Trade School for Nursing in Pittsburgh. She went on to work at the Sewickley Hospital as a pediatric nurse aid beginning in 1965. She was worked as a LPN for 14 years at the DT Watson Home for Crippled Children. Throughout the years, she also worked for Stop n’ go, Giant Eagle and as a private duty nursing aide. She retired from the Moon Twp. Giant Eagle in April 2011. In her spare time she enjoyed watching Western Movies especially those with John Wayne, reading and bowling. She also cherished her time as a congregant of Riverdale Presbyterian Church for over 20 years.  Friends and family will be received at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Twp on Monday, March 30th from 4 – 7pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Monday evening beginning at 7pm officiated by Rev John Dykstra from Riverdale Presbyterian Church. Private Interment will be held in the future at the Beechtown Cemetery in French Creek, W.VA..
