Elizabeth "Betsy" (Gallo) Vescio

Elizabeth "Betsy" (Gallo) Vescio; Age 79 of Sewickley, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2023. Betsy was born April 9, 1944, a daughter of the late James & Florence Gallo. Beloved wife of the late Ettore "Nick" Vescio.  Cherished mother of Christine (Giorgio) Cardillo, Orlando “Dino” Vescio (Adina Marks), Donna Vescio Heary (“that” Jeff Hrapla), and John (Regina) Vescio. Sister of Anne (Antonio) DeGori and Linda Gallo. Special “Nana” to Victoria, Danielle, Nicholas, Salve, Cierra, Christopher, Andrew, John “Bubby”, Corina and “baby” James. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Betsy enjoyed cooking many Italian dishes for her family and hosting family gatherings around her dinner table in Sewickley. She loved and cared for her children and grandchildren deeply and without end. She would never miss a special date in their life. She was also quite fond of Netflix. Visitation will be held on Sunday April 23 at R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Irvine Chapel, Sewickley from (2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm) where a funeral prayer will be held on Monday, April 24 at 10 am followed by a Funeral Mass in Divine Redeemer Parish, St. James Church, Sewickley at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the St. James Cemetery.
