Elizabeth Fecko Obituary

Elizabeth M. "Betty" Fecko (May 14, 1929 - June 10, 2025) Of Sewickley, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Ambridge, Betty carried with her a deep sense of warmth, creativity, and joy throughout her life. It was during her junior year of high school that she met the love of her life, Mike, with whom she shared a special bond-beginning with their high school prom and continuing through a beautiful life together.

She cherished her time spent at her beloved house on Lake Tomahawk, where many memories were made with family and friends. Later, she enjoyed many happy years in Florida, especially golfing with dear friends at Innisbrook. She and Mike were adventurous spirits, spending countless miles together traveling the country in their motor home. Along the way, they visited craft shows where she proudly sold her treasured cross-stitching creations-works that were admired by many and drew familiar faces year after year.

A generous and devoted mother and grandmother, one of her greatest joys was taking her family on two unforgettable trips, one to Italy and another to Hawaii-creating memories that will be cherished for generations.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life: weekly bingo games, exciting trips to the casino, and the loyal friendships that surrounded her. A passionate sports fan through and through, she never wavered in her love for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

She is survived by her loving sons, Michael (Mary) and Jeff (Liz) and her adoring grandchildren, Taylor Fecko, Maddie Reynolds (Dylan), Meg McAuliffe, Jeffrey Fecko (Nicole), Jack Fecko (Mackenzie), Annie Sepe (Nate) and her great-grandson, Llewyn Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her husband Mike and mother Elizabeth Cvengros.

A celebration of her life will be held at Divine Redeemer Parish - St. James Church, Sewickley on Monday, July 14th from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Allegheny General Hospital Hospice fund, 320 E. North Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212
