Eleanor Sweterlitsch Obituary

Eleanor was born in McKees Rocks on September 28, 1926 to the late Adalbert and Leopoldina (Vavrick) Jozefczyk and passed away on April 4, 2021 in Moon Township, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edgar C. Harding, her second husband, Joseph V. Sweterlitsch, her sister, Helen M. Janus, her brother Robert Jozefczyk and her stepson, James S. Sweterlitsch.

She was the stepmom of William J. Sweterlitsch of Hopewell Township, Deborah V. Hregdovic (Steve) of Moon Township and Kenneth C. Sweterlitsch (Cheri) of Moon Township; grandmother of William J. Sweterlitsch, Jr. (Bridget), Jason E. Sweterlitsch, Nicole Zarin (Jimmy) and Nick Karas (Autumn); great-grandmother of Palmer Sweterlitsch, and Logan and Lacey Zarin.

Eleanor was a member of St. Joseph Church and Montour Heights Country Club. Eleanor was an avid golfer, reader, and gardener. She was the epitome of a gracious lady.

A private Mass will be held at St. Joseph Church followed by burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Arrangements by Copeland’s.
