Edmund Michael Berckmiller, age 81, of Robinson Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 13, 2021 surrounded by family at his home. Born January 30, 1940, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Edmund Lee and Anna Mary (Schlereth) Berckmiller of Hopewell.
Ed was a graduate of Penn State University and spent 37 years as an electrical engineer for Duquesne Light Company. Ed enjoyed spending time outdoors whether that be fishing, golfing, or tending to his huge garden. He was also an avid wood worker, spending many hours in his workshop. He loved to be around his family and spending time with his four grandchildren and granddog, Daisy, who was never far from his side. Ed was a member of Holy Trinity Parish.
Beloved husband of 57 years to Judith (Wilson) Berckmiller; loving father of Sharon Berckmiller (Doug Davis), Lara Sheely (Rodney), and Beth Shipley (Todd); adoring grandfather of Abigail, Olivia, Hayden, and Garrett; well-loved by his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Paula Trzcianka (surviving spouse Stanley), Lynn Berckmiller (surviving spouse Marge), Dawn Heilman (surviving spouse Dan), and David Berckmiller.
