Edith R. Wana

Edith R. Wana, age 103, of Moon Township, died Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Wana; loving mother of Edith Lorainne (late Thomas) Harper, Marianne P. (late John) Yetsick and Darlene J. (late James, Jr.) Sachs. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers and was survived by 12 grand, 8 great grand and 4 great great grandchildren. Edith was a long-time member of St. Catherine of Sienna church, and a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Hopewell. She was kind and friendly, which made her everyone's favorite at her residence. Friends will be received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Thursday from 4 - 7 pm, where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 10 am. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
