It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of Dorothy Anne Salfrank. Dorothy is the daughter of Edward and Mabel Phillips. She was born in Allegheny County, where she lived until her marriage to Edward Doyle. Dorothy and Edward traveled extensively for his work with the US Air Force. Edward and Dorothy finally settled in the Redondo Beach area of Southern California, where she began a career as a Quality Control Inspector with TRW. She was highly regarded by the engineers she worked with for her knowledge and dedication to her work. After her retirement from TRW, Dorothy returned to Coraopolis, where she remained until she moved to Florida to be closer to her son. Dorothy and Edward raised two sons, Edward, (Victoria), and Robert, (Diane). She is survived by her sons; 3 grandchildren, Logan, (Yoselin), Julia, (Dan), Shay; one great grandchild, Greyson; her brother, Bill (Winda) Phillips; her sister, Joan Lansberry, who was a constant source of support and comfort to Dorothy; one niece and several nephews. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. Arrangements by Copeland’s.
