Dorothy Mae (Hagen) Rohall passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026. She was born on April 28, 1933 to Albert C. Hagen, Sr. and E. Gertrude (Burk) Hagen in Gibsonia, PA. After graduating from Mars High School (1951), she received her RN from West Penn Hospital School of Nursing (1954). She graduated from California University of Pennsylvania (1979) and received a Masters degree from Penn State University (1992).
After many years of serving as a school nurse in the Avonworth School District, Dorothy was employed for more than 17 years as the Health Services Manager at the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center Head Start, where she was responsible for the childrens’ healthcare services and for teaching healthy habits and safety. She also did volunteer work at Sewickley Valley Hospital.
Dorothy married Donald E. Rohall in 1956 and they raised three sons in Ben Avon, PA. She was a lifetime member of the Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon and had served as a deacon there. She was also a member of the Avon Club. In addition to family vacations and traveling with Donald in the US and Europe, Dorothy enjoyed quilting, sewing, scrapbooking, and other crafts.
She is preceded in rest by her husband, her parents, and her brother, Albert C. Hagen, Jr., and his wife Jean of Mars, PA. She is survived by her three sons and their spouses: Gregory E. and Laurie Eldrige of Phoenix, AZ, Douglas D. and Carol of Weston, MA, and Steven L. and Mary-Alexandra of Washington, DC. Also surviving are her three grandchildren: Ashley, Hailey, and Cameron Rohall.
Dorothy requested that memorial gifts be sent to the Masonic Village at Sewickley (PA) Employee Appreciation Fund.
