Donald H. Keller, a Christian, conservative, family man, veteran and teacher, a resident of Masonic Village since 2004, formerly of Friendship Village in Upper St. Clair, passed away on July 15, 2020 at Masonic Village of Sewickley. He was 88. He was born in Pittsburgh on June 30, 1932, one of four children to the late Phillip and Cecilia (Meyer) Keller. Don owns and operates a small farm in Cochranton, PA. Donald learned a strong work ethic participating in all farm duties, raising cattle, horses, mules etc. Donald married the love of his life on July 9, 1955, Mary Lou (Sievertson) Keller. Their marriage of 65 years blessed them with three beautiful children: Mary Anne Boff (Michael) of Pittsburgh, Donna Keller Mittner (John) of Carnegie and the late Eric Keller (1960-2010); also 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Cel Kujawa and brother Robert Keller. Donald was a 1950 graduate of Bloomfield Consolidated School in Lincolnville, PA and obtained his BS in Education from the University of Pittsburgh taking night classes. A hard worker as an electrical engineer, instructor and administrator, he worked 32 years for J & L Steel Corp (LTV Steel) and 14 years for North Western Rural Electric Co-op in Cambridge Springs, PA. He worked in the field services department for the electrical co-op. Donald proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a 65+-year member of F & AM Doric Lodge #630 of Sewickley, PA. Donald, a former member of Christ Church at Grove Farm is now a member of The Non-Denominational Church at Masonic Village at Sewickley. Always trusting in God, he had a strong Christian faith and foundation, loving Jesus Christ as his Savior, working hard, and loving his family. Visitation Sunday from 1-4 PM at Copeland’s Sewickley, 702 Beaver St. with further visitation on Monday from 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM. Inurnment will be scheduled at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations if desired to Trinity School for Ministry, 311 Eleventh St., Ambridge, PA 15003, 1-800-874-8754 or the Anglican Church of North America.
