Denise "Dee" M. Masciola

Denise “Dee” M. Masciola, wonderful mom and “nunnie”, a sharp business woman, proud Navy Veteran and a life-long resident of Coraopolis, passed away at her home on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the age of 55. Dee was born in Sewickley on March 15, 1963 to the late Anthony J. and Mary Lou (Rupert) Masciola. Beloved soul-mate of Ronnie Vish of Moon Township; loving mother of Tony Tischhauser (Stephanie) of Evansville, Indiana and Tarah Tischhauser of Coraopolis; cherished grandmother of Gianna, Shane, Zen and Zachary; sister of David Linn of Coraopolis; and never far from her side-her devoted teacup Yorkie, Rocco; also aunts, uncles, a nephew, great niece and cousins. Dee made her home in Coraopolis and upon graduation, she joined the Navy and dedicated 20 years to serve her country, rank of Senior Chief. Dee was a member of the Sons of Italy (Sewickley). Dee always fascinated by fashion and beauty industry, began her career as a nail tech, building her clientele and opening her own salon in 2009, LaBella Luna on Fifth Ave. in Coraopolis. Dee was all about family and spending quality time with the ones you love, also loved the beach and the sun. She went out of her way to please others, was extremely organized and was somewhat of a perfectionist. Ronnie would always say “Dee never had a bad hair day.” Dee, always a sparkle in her eyes, was all about fashion and the glitz. And Dee was fun! She always could be found surrounded by others with much laughter and joy.  Dee was never one to turn down any trip to the River’s Casino. She will be greatly missed. Visitation Monday 6-8 and Tuesday 2-4, 6-9 at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM. Pastor Gary Pallidine will officiate. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
