It is with deep sadness that we share, our beautiful Debra (Lipke) Farbacher, age 66, was lifted by angels to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was greeted with rejoicing in heaven by her parents, Barbara (Cook) and Shannon “Moose” E. Lipke, Jr. and her father and mother-in-law Clarence “Whitey” and Dorothy (Spell) Farbacher. Debbie was from Glenshaw, grew up in Coraopolis, and was a graduate of Cornell High School. She devoted her career to caring for children through the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, teaching Head Start and Pre-K. Debbie had a true gift for nurturing—whether it was children, her garden overflowing with tomatoes, her beloved animals, or the people she met each day. Her kindness, faith, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Beloved wife to Charles “Charlie” Farbacher since February 27, 1981, Debbie was a loving mother to Todd (Lauren), Megan, and Seth, and a cherished grandmother to Graci, Logan, and Piper. She is also survived by her siblings Shannon Lipke III (Bonnie), Linda Siegler (Bob Bennett), and Bryan Lipke along with many nieces and nephews. A woman of deep faith, Debbie lived her life sharing God’s love with others, even throughout her courageous journey with glioblastoma. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering belief left a lasting impact on all who were blessed to know her. In honor of her love for animals, donations may be made to Animal Friends. Visitation Sunday, (Feb.1) from 2-4, and 6-8 PM at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. where service will be celebrated on Monday (Feb. 2) at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Sewickley Cemetery.
