David "Hippie"/"Beans" Stokes, Age 68, a lifelong resident of Neville Island, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023. Son of the late Alice "Meme" Stokes. Devoted husband of Joyce Stokes. Caring, loving and committed dad to his 4 special girls; Jamie Gunderson, Sarah Beaver, Amanda Tang, Jess Sampon. Brother of Nancy (Dennis) Gray and Albert "Bert" Stokes. Grandfather of Cierra Gunderson, Zachary Beaver, Logan Sampon, Gage Sampon, Addison Beaver, Avery Tang, Ryker Sampon and Kennedy "Brownie" Tang. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Hippie retired after 47 years of trucking, most of that time spent with PGT Trucking. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and boating the Ohio river. As per David's request, all of his arrangements will be PRIVATE. Services were entrusted to R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Coraopolis.
