David "Corky" Paul Krull

David “Corky” Paul Krull, 73, a Coraopolis resident most of his life, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Friday, September 8, 2023, at his home. He was born in Sewickley on September 6, 1950, to the late Frances “Betty” (Cox) and August J. Krull, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Karly Krull-Fritz, and his brother Johnny Krull. Corky is survived by his four loving children, David Krull, Jr., Karen Krull, Justin Krull and Kamron Krull; six beautiful grandchildren; and his sister Jan Prusick (Krull). Corky was a member of the AFL-CIO Steel Workers Union, the Coraopolis Moose, CSA Lodge 129 in Groveton, the Hungarian Club, and a social member of Italian Beneficial Association of Coraopolis. Corky had registered in the Selective Service System. He served his community as a Democratic Committeeman and was proud to be a councilman for Coraopolis. A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. from 2 PM until time of service at 3 PM. Please join us as we celebrate Corky’s life.
