David F. Jones

David F. Jones; Age 95, passed away at home on Saturday, July 27th. Born in Blairsville, PA on May 12, 1929, a son of the late Ralph and Lelia Jones. Cherished husband of the late Mary (Horvath) Jones. He will be sadly missed by his two beloved children; Carol (Mark David) Ellison and Ron (Beth) Jones, a granddaughter Megan (Scott) Reinbold and two great-grandsons, Harvey and Ruben Reinbold. Brother of Walter Jones, Sara Jane Allen and the late Della Perkins. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Dad lived for his family. He served in the Korean War as a Sergeant in the US Army from 1952 - 1954. Driving Army trucks was his favorite part. David loved the farming life. We all loved his stories about all the tractors he ran, cars he fixed, always thinking of others before himself. Always one to brighten any room, everyone loved David's sense of humor and wonderful stories. Visitation will be held at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Twp on Wednesday, July 31st from 10:30 am until time of Blessing Service at 12pm. Interment will be PRIVATE. In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's name may be made to the VFW Post 402, 412 Mulberry St, Coraopolis, PA 15108
