Daniel Augustine Mundy, 93, of Moon Township, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Caring Heights Rehabilitation Home, peacefully, receiving of Joy in his soul, seeing Jesus face to face. He's in Glory with the Holy One. He loved God's Word (John 11:25). Dan was a sweet darling husband to Antoinette for 47 years. We were both so grateful and excited to have been blessed with each other. Dan loved home life.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents Frank Mundy and Olga Mardis Mundy; and his brothers Frank and Jack and wives and many cousins.
Surviving are his sons, Frank Mundy, Dan (Julia) Mundy, grandson Connor; Dan was loving stepfather to Christa (Brian) Dooley, and many nieces and nephews.
Dan was a graduate of Baldwin High School. Dan served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for Conrail as a Railroad Conductor for 37 years.
Per Dan's request, there will be a private visitation and service for immediate family at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township. Burial will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
