Dallas B. Stewart, Jr.

Dallas Stewart, Jr. Age 71, of Moon Twp. passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, May 26th, 2026. Dallas was born in Sewickley on May 3, 1955, a son of the late Dallas Stewart, Sr. (Patty) and Lois M. (O'Rourke) Stewart (longtime partner Bob Massimini). Beloved husband of 50 years to his high school sweetheart, Deborah “Debbie” (Rearick) Stewart. Special father of Autumn Stewart-Lynch (Kevin) and Dallas "Buddy" (Kari Ann) Stewart. Brother of Gary L. (Mary Beth) Stewart. Loving and proud "Poppy" of Pfc Dallas James and Emma Katherine Stewart. Also survived by special sisters-in-law Brenda "Bubba" Rearick and Linda "Lynnie" Wilkins and niece Julie Yancer (Matt). Dallas was a man that always seemed to have a smile, a positive word of encouragement on a hard day, and just always knew what someone needed. He could teach a master class on how to love and cherish a wife. He loved being outdoors and even when he was indoors, he was always watching for wildlife in the yard, especially his birds. As a carpenter, he modeled hard work and took pride in perfecting his craft, sharing his talent with so many people who welcomed him into their homes and lives, making new friends over the years. He never complained even though he dealt with chronic pain daily. He loved a good meal and was always cooking up something! He loved his friends and was a true friend that literally did anything for you. He taught integrity, the value of a hard days work, persistence, and what a love for and personal relationship with Jesus means. He was the best dad and granddad to us who will carry on his deep love for God, family, and country. Friends will be received at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Ltd, Coraopolis on Friday from 2- 4 and 7- 9 PM. A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening at 8 PM.
