Cynthia Gray Norris

Cynthia Gray Norris, of Leetsdale, Pennsylvania passed away at age 74 on March 3, 2025.  

After completing her secondary education at Sewickley Academy, she studied abroad and earned her Bachelor's degree from Briarcliff College in 1973.

Cynthia was a teacher, an office manager, a mens' clothing store supervisor, a health care claims processor, and a critter sitter.  She enjoyed a wide range of crafts, collecting various objects, and was an avid reader.  

To honor her passion for animals, her wish was for donations to be made to Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh.  

Cynthia was the mother of Jennifer Gray Dallas and Geoffrey Scott Snyder (wife Kelci Ann Snyder); the grandmother of Gavin Robert Snyder and (due soon) Miles Scott Snyder; the sister of Scott Allen Norris III; and the aunt of Scott A. Norris IV, George Henry Norris, and Robert W. Norris II. 

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th at R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, 702 Beaver Street, Sewickley from 3 - 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Animal Rescue League of Western PA
