Curtis Lee Cron

Curtis Lee Cron, Age 76, of Moon Township died peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Born the son of the late William and Rose Cron on January 18, 1948. Loving husband of 45 years of Lisa Baer Cron; Loving father of Gregg (Stacey) Cron, Chadd (Tracy) Cron and Kalli (Jim) Biskup; brother of Nancy (John) Plum; preceded in death by his older brother Ron Cron. "Gramps" is survived by his 7 grandchildren. Curtis worked at HorseHead Industries for over 46 years and in retirement he enjoyed driving cars for Manheim Auto Auction. He was an avid tennis and pickleball player. He loved being outdoors, riding electric bikes, spending time at Siesta Key, traveling the world and feeding the birds around the house. In addition to his love of outdoor activities, Curtis took pride in showing his 1953 Buick Roadmaster and enjoyed building Legos and setting up his model trains.  Friends will be received at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Twp on Sunday, April 14th from 11:30 until time of service at 1pm officiated by Rabbi Alex Greenbaum. Interment will be PRIVATE. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Curt’s name can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
