Col. John Decroo, Jr.

Col. John Decroo, Jr. Age 77, of Moon Township, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. Beloved husband of 44 years to Carol Ann (Joint) Decroo. Father of Brad (Jen) Decroo, Justin (Nicole) Decroo, John (Vicki) Decroo, Jeffrey (Libby) Decroo and Jeremy Decroo. Brother of MaryJo (Dave) Boyer, Wayne (Sue) Decroo, Louie (Debbie) Decroo and Mark (Kathy) Decroo. Grandfather of Hannah Redfern, Nate Decroo, Chloe Decroo, Blake Decroo, Julia Decroo and Derek Decroo. Uncle of Cassandra Boyer, Lauren Restelli, Melissa Hwostow, Louie Decroo, Chad Decroo, Nick Decroo and Jeremy Hanz. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 17th at 11:30 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Church at 12 PM. John will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors.
