Clarence R. Yost, 82, of Robinson Township, formerly of Sheridan, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home with his family present on Saturday, March 21, 2020. Born on October 16, 1937 in McKees Rocks, he was the oldest of three to the late Clarence J. and Bertha (Hufnagel) Yost. Beloved husband for 56 years to Vera (Swoger) Yost; loving father of David Yost of Robinson Twp and Cindy (John) Kuhlman of Moon Township; proud grandfather of Zachary, Isaac, Elijah, and Kayla; cherished brother of Geraldine Latusick of Stowe Twp and Loretta Ramsey of New Vernon Twp. He had been employed by A. Stucky Co. as an electrician and millwright. He did research and development for Ten Point Bow and Arrow. He also had a roofing and siding contract company. Clarence enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. He always put his family first and was happiest when they caught fish and game. In recent years, he enjoyed boating and tinkering. He always had to be doing something and was always building, repairing and fixing things. In 1970, he built his own home. After retiring, he repaired and rebuilt lawnmowers.
