Clara Jane Oyler, beloved and cherished daughter of Michael and Melanie (Baldwin) Oyler, was born at West Penn Hospital on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 and was gently taken up to Heaven that same day where she was welcomed by her oldest angel sibling. Clara was loved deeply every minute of her life. She has forever changed those close to her by teaching the true meaning of unconditional love and acceptance through her diagnosis of Down Syndrome. Her life has stirred a dedication to advocacy and has sown seeds of change which will continue to create more beauty and understanding in this world. She will always be remembered by those who loved her, and her legacy will continue. She is survived by loving brothers, Evan and Luke; grandparents, John and Mary Gail Baldwin, Rev. Dr. David and Rebecca Oyler; aunts and uncles, Allison and Scott Hallam, Bob Baldwin and Jon Jenkins, Megan and Nathan Troxell, David and Justine Oyler, and Stephen and Kate Oyler; along with many other loving extended family members. Clara’s life will be celebrated in a private family gathering. In honor of Clara’s life, you are invited to support the Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh through your prayers and donations.
