Christina Mary (Lyons) Hess

Christina Mary Hess, age 85, of Sewickley passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. She was born in Dublin, Ireland the daughter of the late John and Mary (Kelly) Lyons. Beloved wife of James D. Hess; loving mother of Thomas (Kristin) Hess and Noleen Hess; devoted grandmother of Erik Hess, Evan Zernich, Laura Honeychurch, Gabrielle Zernich, Jackson Zernich and Skylar Egbert. She is also survived by 5 siblings and preceded in death by 4 siblings. Christina was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother, stopping her career to raise the family. In her later years, she worked at the Sewickley YMCA fitness center as an attendant and assisting with membership. Services were held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, 1600 Coraopolis Heights Rd., Suite F, Coraopolis, PA 15108. Arrangements entrusted to R. D. Copeland, Ltd., Irvine Chapel.
