Charlotte "Char" (Jurovic) Fontanesi

Charlotte “Char” (Jurovic) Fontanesi; Age 83, a resident of Moon Township for 50 years, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025. Beloved wife of 63 years to Ronald Fontanesi. Cherished mother of Cindy Fontanesi. Grandmother of Quinn and Max Borchert. Sister of Stephen Jurovic. Char and her husband Ron were founding members of Christ Church at Grove Farm where she volunteered as a homegroup coordinator, assisted in the food pantry, and with providing clothing for children in the community. An avid softball player, Char coached for Moon Area sports for over 10 years. She also enjoyed playing volleyball and took up playing golf in her retirement. Char’s wish was that gifts be made in her memory to her grandson Max’s school, The Watson Institute, located in Sewickley, Pa.
