Charles “Chuck” Wyberg, 83, of Moon Township, passed away on October 21, 2018 at Paramount Assisted Living in Cranberry, PA. Born in Grantsburg, WI on January 16, 1935, he was the son of the late Carl and Ruth Wyberg. He attended Oliver High School. After high school, at the age of 17, he joined the U.S. Air Force in 1952, served in the Vietnam War. He retired in 1973 after 21 years of service and made his home in Moon Township. After retirement, he started a new career as the manager of the Ohio Military Federal Credit Union for 9 years. He then moved on to become comptroller for the 911h Air Life wing in Moon Township. He finally retired in 1994. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Elks Club. He enjoyed bowling and golf. He was preceded in death by the Love of His Life, his wife, Janice in 2010, his daughter Krista, parents, Carl and Ruth Wyberg, brothers, Harry, Paul, Don and sister Florence Barret. He is survived by sons, Keith (Lori), Kevin (Carla); grandchildren Brett, Chris (Jerriann), Joseph, Garin (Miranda), Carlinda (Nick) Kleck, Cole (Emily) McDanel, Ty (Kayla) Torrence and Nathan Wyberg; great grandchildren Cullen Kleck and Elle McDanel, Mason & Eli Wyberg; sister Carol (Mike) Vencheri. Visitation Wednesday 2-4, 6-8 at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Road. with funeral service at 7:30 PM followed by Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the staff at Paramount Assisted Living for the care they gave to our Dad.
