Charles J. Dowling

Charles J. Dowling, “Chuck” passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021, in his beloved “other home”, St. Maarten. He was raised in the South Hills and resided in Moon Twp since 1988. With his loving wife of 33 years, Lisa Phillips Dowling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles, and Marie Bickel Dowling. He is survived by his brother, Terry, sister-in-laws, Jackie Dalton (Scott Bosso), Joa Flicker and nephews, Sean Flicker and Brendan (Jordan) Askin and nieces Shannon Caseber and Kat Kaatz (Chris Martinez), as well as a great-niece Primrose Flicker, numerous friends that were special to his heart both here and in SXM. He was a long time, very well-liked employee of USAirways/AA. Chuck will be remembered for his wicked sense of humor and his contagious laugh. Chuck was the friend that everyone wanted and needed. Rest in the arms of an angel. Friends received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Monday 3 – 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Margaret Mary Church, Moon Township on Tuesday at 9:30 am. The family suggests donations in his memory to sxmpaws.com or aalaboutasmile.org.
