Cecile (Watson) Carlos, loving and devoted mother and grandmother, was taken to her heavenly home in the evening hours of Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from the comfort of her home in Coraopolis. She was born in Sewickley on July 1, 1937, one of two daughters to the late Rufus and Anabell (Wilkins) Watson. On November 20, 1987, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 26 years, Clarence Carlos. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Carol Watson. Cecile was dearly loved by her three children Kenneth Watson, Virginia Carlos and Clarence Carlos, Jr. (Cathy); her cherished grandchildren Paul Mills, Shoshanna Carlos, Jordan Davis, and Clarence William Carlos III; and her adored great granddaughters Kate and Emmy Mills. Cecile retired in 2004 as a 14-year teacher’s aid from Cornell School District. She was an active member of St. Paul AME Zion Church where she served as an usher, Sunday School Teacher, and a choir member. Most recently, she was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Cecile will be remembered for her calm and quiet nature who loved people and just was nice to everybody. A memorial service will be scheduled later when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Arrangements by Copeland’s.
