Carol E. (McCartney) Kowalewski

Carol E. (McCartney) Kowalewski, age 91, of Hopewell Township, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Beloved wife of the late James L. McCartney and Frank Kowalewski; loving mother of Kristine (Mark) Jockel, James (Linda) McCartney, Jr., Susan (Jeffrey) Weil, John (Jennifer) McCartney and Leonard (Connie) McCartney; dear grandmother of George (Kristi) Franchek, Pamela Franchek, Kimberly Weil, Jeffrey (Tara) Weil, Jr., Johnathan McCartney and the late James McCartney, III, sister of Pat (Boos) Colangelo, Carl (Jeanne) Boos, Jr.  and the late Marilyn Murchland. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren. Carol graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1952. The most precious thing in life for her was her family, singing in the church choir and painting. Friends received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Wednesday 3 – 7 pm where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society.
