Dear Blessing,

This is Dad speaking to you from the heart, I want to thank you for your strength and courage to fight to stay upon earth. Your strength and courage are helping your brother Zeke and your sister Emma stay strong while they continue to fight for strength and health. You’ve also given me and mom the strength and the courage to continue to stay focused and to strive through these tough times of darkness which we will see the light at the end of the tunnel which is you, shining upon us at all times new. You are our shooting star. As I watch you take your place next to the moon shining bright upon us, letting us know you will always watch over us and be that great blessing you are to us and the world. Your impact on life is truly amazing. As we part ways from each other physically, we will always be connected spiritually and mentally. You name speaks volumes, “Blessing”. So, until we meet again, you stay beautiful, grateful, and give us all strength to empower each other up in positive and gracious way. You are our Angel now and will always be our “Blessing”. Blessing Amor Thomas was born, one of three children, on Sunday, August 3, 2019 at Magee Women’s Hospital to her loving parents Marcus and Erika (Garcia) Thomas. Her life on earth was brief but how much love we received. She was taken to heaven on August 4, 2019. In addition to her devoted parents, she will be greatly missed by her siblings Marcus Thomas, Jr., Naeem Thomas, Harlem Thomas, Tavian Thomas, Cataleya Thomas, and triplets Ezekiel and Emma Thomas. Blessing was the granddaughter of Rafael and Petra Garcia, and Stephanie & Darnell Jones; great granddaughter of Janice and Leroy Thompkins; great great granddaughter of Essie Thomas; also many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Blessing will always be in our thoughts and prayers and will never be forgotten. We love you.
