Betty Lynn (Schweitzer) Young

Betty L. Young age 76 of Crescent Twp., passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 17 2024, surrounded by loving family. Betty was born November 5,1947 a daughter of the late Elmer and Dorothy(Baldinger) Schweitzer. Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband William Young Jr. who was her whole world. She was also preceded in death by her brothers David and Ronald Schweitzer and her sister Nancy Deets.

Beloved Aunt of Shannon (Tim) Sullivan. Devoted Great Aunt of Katie Sullivan. Sister of Karen (Doug) Young. Sister in law of Margie and Judy Schweitzer. Betty is survived by many nieces and nephews and her best friend Nancy.

Betty will be remembered for her endless love of her husband and her family. She was a strong, intelligent caring woman to all who loved her.

A private funeral service will be conducted at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Twp on Sunday September 22nd.
