Betty Jane (Potts) Swoger; Age 100, a resident of Moon Twp most of her life passed away on Tuesday, January 28th at Caring Heights Rehabilitation Center. Betty was the beloved wife of 48 years to the late John Howard Swoger who preceded her in death in 1995. Cherished mother of Rhea (Ted) Kraszewski, John (Ellen) Swoger and the late Dennis Swoger. Sister of Richard Potts and the late Eunice Swoger, Lucille Kirk, Helen Thornburg and Fred Potts. Grandmother of Jennifer Gryck Swoger, Denise (Brian) Schultz, Magen (Kevin) Piepczyk, Erin Kraszewski and Paige (Devin) Cassidy. Great-grandmother of Morgan Swoger, Brett & Ethan Lovy, Anthony & Elizabeth Piepczyk, Aiden Gryck, Parker Swoger and Hannah Cassidy. Great-great grandmother of Haisley and Kinsley. Visitation will be held at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, 867 Fifth Avenue, Coraopolis on Thursday, January 30th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 3 PM.
