Betty Ann (Podnar) Cybator

Cybator, Betty Ann (Podnar); Age 82 of Moon Twp, PA formerly of McKees Rocks passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Beloved wife of 44 years to the late Donald Cybator. Daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Podnar. Cherished mother of Chris (Charlene) Cybator, Gina (Paul) Anderson, Glenn (Candi) Cybator and Eric (Tammy) Cybator. Sister of Marge (Gabe) Rychorcewicz. Grandmother of Brian, Hayley, Mariah, Larissa and Zane. Betty graduated from Mount Assisi Academy. When her children were young, she worked as a reading aide at Sto-Rox School District. She later worked as a sales associate at Broadway Jewelers for many years. She retired in 1994 from the Focus On Renewal Center where she worked as a secretary for the Adult Literacy Program. Betty took great pride in belonging to the Twin Club, Robin Hill Homemakers, Local Red Hatters Society, St. James 55+ group, Moon Senior Connection and the Classy Ladies. She belonged to St. Margaret Mary Parish where she enjoyed greeting and singing in the choir. Her love of traveling took her on many trips and pilgrimages with Mary's Travels, as well as vacations to Barbados, Jamaica, and Hawaii with family. When she wasn't traveling, she appreciated times spent with her family at their summer home in Tionesta, PA. She also enjoyed gardening, baking, candy making and playing card games with her friends at Tapestry Senior Living. In her later years, Betty enjoyed going out to eat and the taste of a well prepared meal. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her. Friends received  4 - 8 pm, on Friday at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Rd., Moon Twp., where a funeral prayer will be held on Saturday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Mary Church at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at the St. Marks Cemetery in McKees Rocks.
