Betty June Campbell

Betty June (Lynch) Campbell, age 91, of Moon Township and lately, Baden, PA passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Born in Connellsville, PA on August 17, 1932, to the late John and Iva Lynch. June is predeceased by her husband Samuel F. Campbell and her sisters, Wilda Means and Darlene Zur.  June is survived by her son, Samuel J. (Tina) Campbell of Lancaster, PA and her daughter, Rebecca (Leo) Laffey of Moon Township, PA and a brother, Ronald Lynch of Connellsville, PA. Proud grandmother to Katherine Campbell and fiancé Mike of Philadelphia, PA and Thomas Elchin of Moon Township, PA. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. After graduating Connellsville high school, June attended the University of Pittsburgh and graduated from the nursing program at St. Margaret’s Hospital. She was a Registered Nurse. Her work experiences included St. Margaret’s Hospital, Dixmont State Hospital and Mayview State Hospital.  June was a long-time member of Sharon Community Presbyterian Church in Moon Township. With her deep faith in God, she lived and enjoyed her life with her husband, family and friends. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Villa St. Joseph in Baden, PA and the wonderful staff of Good Samaritan Hospice, who took care of June in her final days. Family and friends will be received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Tuesday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm, where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am.
