Bernard Lyne Blakey, 75, a father, a veteran, and a man with a memorable personality and humor, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Tapestry Senior Living in Moon Township. He worked for the Commonwealth of PA at Mayview State Hospital until he retired with fond memories of playing softball with his colleagues. He was an avid motorcyclist, joining the Pittsburgh Gentlemen Motorcycle Club. He followed professional and college sports, enjoyed skiing and scuba diving, and had a passion for airplanes.
