Barbara Bailey Lindsay

Barbara Bailey Lindsay, 82, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2020. Born on May 21, 1938, she was the daughter of the late George and Gertrude Bailey. In her early years, Barbara worked as a nurse before changing careers. Barbara built a career for herself at USAir in the reservations department for 23 years. She liked to travel, and often shared her trips with her son, Jeffrey. Barbara enjoyed shopping, especially for jewelry. She was an absolute cat lover and always helped contribute to numerous animal shelters. Barbara was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, sister and friend.

Barbara is survived by her cherished son Jeffrey D. Hughes (Sharon), sister Jacqueline Kraus (Harven) and her children Ron Kraus and Clifford Kraus (Heather), sister Georgia Crain and her daughter Brenda Lee Patterson, and her beloved cat, Bennett.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday Sept. 29 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM, Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Road, where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Coraopolis Cemetery.
