Barbara L. (Gormley) Brunson

Barbara L. (Gormley) Brunson, 64, of Moon Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Cedar Hill. Barbara was born on June 10, 1960, in Moon Township, PA, one of five children born to Nancy (Cahall) Gormley and the late James Gormley. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Brunson and her sister Susan Gormley. Barbara is a cherished daughter of Nancy (Cahall) Gormley; beloved mother of Adam Campbell, Adrienne Parkes, and Victoria Brunson; grandmother of Andre Campbell and Liam Parkes; sister of Diane Poole, Laura Wiegand, James Gormley and older sisters Marilyn Vitari and Jamie Roach. Barbara was retired from the administrative offices of UPS. Barbara was a fun person, surrounding herself with music and enjoyed attending concerts. She also had a love of travel, especially the Southwestern United States. She would get ideas for décor with a Native American flair. Her favorite states were New Mexico, Nevada, and California and there was nothing like the Grand Canyon. A bit of a daredevil, she was up for riding the highest Roller Coasters in any Amusement Park.
