Barbara (Gould) Bernet

Barbara Bernet, age 71, of Moon Township, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, after fighting hard and fierce battles against cancer. Barb leaves behind, Rick, her husband of 49 years, daughter Jill Covington, grandsons Braylon and Owen, daughter Sarah Farren (Scott), grandsons Ryan and Gavin, Sister Ginny Gould, and many wonderful friends.  Barb enjoyed gardening, loved summer, hated winter but she loved Christmas, and was an excellent cook.  Many thanks to the Hillman Cancer Center staff who cared for and supported Barb and her family.  Friends will be received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Friday from 6 – 8 pm and Saturday from 10 – 12 pm, where a Funeral Service will be held at 12 pm.  In lieu of flowers, consider donations to the Hillman Cancer Center is Barb’s name.
