Barbara Rose (Bolea) Adams

Barbara Rose (Bolea) Adams, aged 92, passed away peacefully on April 10th, 2025 at her home in Moon Township, PA. She was born on January 17th, 1933 in Coraopolis, PA to Annina (Tarula) Bolea and Alessandro Bolea. Barbara grew up alongside her five siblings, Tessina, Frank, Armo, Rudy, and Lucio in Coraopolis, PA, and attended Coraopolis schools. She went on to work a career with US Airways. She held positions as a manager, reservationist, and traveling trainer which allowed her to travel the world. After retiring from that position, she worked part-time as a cafeteria worker at Eaton Corporation before retiring entirely. She lived a strong, independent life and went on to help raise four generations of her family. Barbara was the loving mother of Mariann (Stephen) Krivy, and the late Debra Adams; loving grandmother to Nicole Blonski, Melissa McBride, and the late Tessina Krivy. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Family was most important to Barbara. Sharing stories, gathering for holidays, enjoying family dinners, and hosting pizza parties for her grandchildren were a few of her favorite things to do. She was the true matriarch of the family, leading by an unimpeachable example. Per her wishes, there will not be a viewing or service. The family asks that you remember her for the amazing woman that she was and take solace in knowing that she lived a full life that many would be proud to have lived. Through love and compassion, Barbara has left her mark on this world, and she will be greatly missed.
