Audrey Mae (Keldusis) Maruca

Audrey Mae (Keldusis) Maruca, 89, of Moon Township, passed peacefully at her home on Good Friday, April 2, 2021. Audrey was born in Pittsburgh on January 30, 1932 to Peter Keldusis (who died early in her life) and her mother and stepfather, Helen (Slancauskas) and Frank Zelkovic (both now deceased). Audrey met the love of her life, Robert James Maruca, who she married on October 29, 1960. They had 60 years of bliss, doing everything together; whether it be traveling to Vegas, cruising the Caribbean, being a proud Military wife of a U.S. Air Force Master Sgt., being her husband’s right hand as he operated Cousins Lounge, Johnny Dollars, Sessions, and Cousins Travel Agency. She loved her husband and they had so much fun all their 60 years together. Audrey also was an accomplished beautician in her younger years, successfully owned and operated Audrey’s Restaurant, Moon Township and was a friendly hostess at Sessions. Both she and her husband loved being active, enjoyed people, and were always willing to help family as well as friends. Beloved wife of 60 years to Robert James Maruca; loving mother of Janet Hutchins (John), Sharon Kingerski (Robert) and the late Robert Joseph Maruca; devoted grandmother of Christina Hutchins Brancato (Frank), Maria Hutchins-Osbourne (Dane), Robert M. Kingerski, Nicholas Kingerski and Jessica Kingerski; cherished great grandmother of Christopher and Samuel Brancato. Please join us as we celebrate this great lady’s life. Visitation Tuesday (April 6) 4-8 PM at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. where prayers will be recited on Wednesday (April 7) at 9:30 AM followed by Mass at 10 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery.
