Arthur “Artie” J. Stiffler; Age 72, a lifelong resident of Glenwillard, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at Heritage Valley Sewickley. Arthur was born on July 1, 1953, a son of the late Clarence and Margaret Stiffler Dixon. Artie is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Sandy (Irion) Stiffler. He was the cherished father of Jamie Richardson (Mike) and Robert Stiffler. Brother of LeeAnn Plish, Laurie Stiffler, Harold W. Stiffler (Deborah), Bob Stiffler (Patricia) and the late John “Butch” Homko. Loving “Pappy” to Alexa and Michael Richardson. Brother-in-law of Robert Irion (Michelle), Fred Irion (Tammy), Joni Tajc, the late Dennis Irion and the late Karen Schulenberg. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and 2 dear friends, Ron Mytinger and Dan Muller. Artie was a true people person with the gift of gab that lasted a lifetime. Once he got you on the phone it was near-impossible to end the conversation. He enjoyed vacations to the beach with his family, especially the Isle of Palms in South Carolina. Beyond his family, Artie’s other love was singing Gospel Music. He sang in churches all over the area as well as weddings and jails. The venues weren’t as important as the music that was being sung by him. He could always be heard singing a few of his favorites, “People need the Lord”, “Here we are” and “Amazing what a prayer can do”. May his voice and words reverberate with us all for many years to come. Friends will be received at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Twp on Sunday, March 15thfrom 2 – 7 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 16th at 10am followed by burial at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Aliquippa.
