Obituary
Arleen Frances Carlese (Laffey), 59, of Ambridge, PA, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, February 25, 2023. She was surrounded with loved ones by her side. Arleen was one of six children born to the late Mary Frances Smith and Peter James Laffey. Loving mother of Stacy (Carlese) Duggan of Liberty Hill, TX, Valerie Carlese of San Francisco, CA, and Michael Snyder of Ambridge, PA. Cherished sister of Anna Robinson of Ambridge, PA, brother Pete Laffey who resides in Georgia, followed by grandchildren Chloe and Jacob Duggan of Liberty Hill TX, Riley and Raiden Snyder of New Castle, PA, and nieces Rose, Natalie, and Racheal of Ambridge PA. Arleen was a kind, loving, thoughtful and strong woman. She enjoyed spending time at her parish and being outdoors. Arleen loved her family dearly. We will miss her deeply but we know she is at peace and reunited with her family and companion, John Smonko. A burial service will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 1pm at Resurrection Cemetery,100 Resurrection Road, Coraopolis, PA 15108. Arrangements entrusted to R.D. Copeland Funeral Homes.
